טושייוקי יושינו נולד בשנת 1959. לאחר שסיים את לימודיו באוניברסיטת טוקיו לאמנויות, למד באוניברסיטת העיצוב שווביש גמונד. בהמשך הקים את Studio Yoshino ואת מותג הרהיטים העצמאי שלו, במילאנו בשנים 1993 ו-1999 בהתאמה.
