Japanese designer born in Yamanashi Prefecture in 1956. He worked at Seiko Epson and at ID Two (later IDEO), founding and leading IDEO’s Tokyo office, before going independent in 2003 to establish Naoto Fukasawa Design. Known for quietly powerful designs that embody human sentiment, he has collaborated with many international brands across home accessories, electronics, mobility, furniture, interiors and architecture.
