01 / 07CondeHouse StyleFrom Hokkaido, with care and respect+

The beautiful forests of Hokkaido are the starting point of everything Conde House creates.

We use Hokkaido wood whenever possible and strive to use every last piece, creating furniture intended to remain part of everyday life for many years. Treating the forest well is at the heart of our work, and every piece is made with gratitude for what nature has given us.

Inside the factories, advanced processing tools work alongside elaborate handcraft. This union of manual skill and technology has grown through continual experiments in new forms of craftsmanship - the reason designers around the world trust Conde House to realize demanding ideas.

Respect for nature and consideration for people are deeply rooted Japanese values. They appear in the gentle shapes, intricate functions and quiet comfort of the furniture: craftsmanship that carries Japanese aesthetics to the world.

02 / 07Contribution to SocietyFurniture in harmony with nature+

Since its founding in 1968, Conde House has pursued furniture making in harmony with nature.

Wooden furniture depends on natural resources. Conde House therefore aims to use every tree completely, increasingly choosing locally grown timber to reduce transport energy while continuing to make beautiful, sturdy and long-lasting furniture.

The company follows Japanese standards for VOC reduction and product safety, participates in environmentally responsible procurement, and supports healthy forests for future generations. Natural marks in wood and leather are respected as evidence of each material's life, then thoughtfully incorporated into the finished piece.

03 / 07MaterialsCarefully selected, honestly expressed+

Small decisions in material selection create a profound difference in comfort, character and longevity.

Fabric. Cotton with a dry touch, breathable linen and regenerated rayon with a subtle glow are selected for comfort and design. The collection ranges across color, pattern and texture, allowing upholstery to work in harmony with each wood and finish.

Leather. Conde House uses natural leather whose scars and wrinkles remain visible as natural marks. Full-grain and corrected-grain collections receive carefully balanced pigment and aniline treatments for texture, appearance and maintainability.

Wood. Grain, color and character naturally vary even within one tree. Conde House places these features deliberately and uses vertical joining to transform short, high-quality pieces into durable solid-wood surfaces, making fuller use of precious timber.

05 / 07About CondeHouse ProductsDesigned for a longer life+

Longevity is designed into the finish, upholstery, proportions and serviceability of every product.

Wood finish. Transparent coatings emphasize natural grain and color. A coordinated finish palette allows pieces from different collections to live together comfortably.

Replaceable covers. Detachable seat covers make seasonal changes and maintenance easier while extending upholstery life. Pearl Tone HG treatment adds water and stain resistance with almost no change to the fabric's texture.

Customization and restoration. Chair and table heights can be adapted to the customer. In Japan, Conde House also repairs, re-upholsters and refinishes furniture, supporting an approach in which wood is used at a pace compatible with forest growth and fine furniture returns to use rather than becoming waste.

06 / 07Products HistoryMore than five decades of enduring design+

A piece of furniture has three lifetimes: the life of its material, its construction and its design.

Long material life begins with good timber, properly dried and milled. Long structural life requires robust construction. Long design life depends on timeless beauty and usefulness. Conde House adds a fourth consideration - maintainability - so that furniture can remain in use until the next generation of trees is ready.

From early pieces of the 1970s and the long-lived Riki Rocker to contemporary collections such as Ten, Kotan, Nupri, Aatos, TUB and KINA LUX, the archive shows an evolving but consistent design language: calm proportions, tactile materials and intelligent function.

More than fifty years of experience inform interior proposals for homes, offices, shops, hotels, medical environments and public facilities.

Conde House supports projects from interior planning through construction. Its design team works with clients to shape complete spaces, not simply supply individual chairs, sofas and tables.

When the standard collection does not meet a project's exact requirements, furniture can be customized and produced in Conde House's own factory, preserving the same care, material knowledge and quality standards found throughout the collection.
